We will have my live well loaded with a variety of baitfish, usually scaled sardines, also called “greenbacks” or jumbo shrimp, grunts and pinfish.  If you decided to get bait with me then we will head to a nearby flat and begin to chum to attract the baitfish.  After they are in our chum slick, we will throw a large cast net on the bait.  After a few net-full’s, we will head to the fishing grounds anywhere from the back country to the beaches of Clearwater, Tarpon Springs, and Tampa Bay.

When we arrive to the first fishing spot, poles will be rigged and ready. We will show you how to use the fishing equipment and explain the tactic on how we are trying to catch the targeted species.  We use the best products on the market. such as Shimano reels, G-Loomis and Shimano Rods, Owner hooks, Power Pro fishing line, and Fluorocarbon leader material.  If you have your own Rod and Reel combo you wish to use, bring it.  We will make sure it is working properly and rigged up correct for the species we are catching.

We will then begin putting baits on our hooks and start fishing. We will fish in many different areas during your trip, depending on the time of year and what tide we have.  There will be ample opportunities to catch fish and you will see some beautiful sights.  Some common sights are huge schools of mullet getting chased by Bottlenose Dolphins, manatees, local birds, and even spotted rays leaping into the air.  You would not want to be anywhere else when you experience a beautiful sunny, clear day, aboard a 26 Gause Built boat while fishing the waters of Clearwater, Tarpon Springs, and Tampa Bay.

As our inshore Fishing Charter comes to an end, we will head back towards the dock.  If you chose to keep your legal catch, we will begin to fillet the fish after we gather all your belongings from the boat.  After the fish is in a bag with ice, we will explain a few ways to prepare your fish.  We then will say our good-bye and hopefully you will be back soon for another great Clearwater Inshore Fishing Charter!
